– Determine what your goals are as a filmmaker. What impact do you want to have?
– Determine what the goals of the specific film will be.
– Find a story people can relate to.
– Find a compelling character.
– Identify the conflict or challenge.
– Ask yourself “What is unique or surprising about this story?”
